AFTER HOURS documents what happens behind closed doors among close-knit groups of friends. The project serves as a diary made to share with the public and those who may not be a part of the “party lifestyle.”  The depicted intimate moments, activities, environments, and exciting adventures that occur “after hours” in safe spaces where “anything goes” illustrate the trust and comfort exhibited by the community.

My camera follows me and my friends  as we go to intimate gatherings, bars, small kickbacks, and big parties. In my photographs, I attempt to provide the viewer with the sense that they are there with us. The work aims to show the value and importance of close bonds among young adults, especially among those who engage in a “riskier lifestyle,” by offering a peek into the unique and odd environments the community occupies.
