my main project (images 1-8) focuses on the dilemma of surveillance and the implicated issues of privacy we’re facing in the current age of technological advancement. through capturing figures in isolation and manipulating data within images that describe identity exposes the fact that whether we are conscious of it or not, we are being monitored and recorded by everything from security cameras to the applications we use on our phones. with this occurring 24/7 we are desensitized to the reality of how our data is collected and manipulated. this project aims to unveil the psychological paranoia associated with the constant authoritarian surveillance our society now faces.
